You are currently viewing Five European Islands For A Dream Vacation

We know that you are constantly thinking about summer, unique landscapes, holidays in sunny places, so today we have some proposals that you will not be able to resist: 5 European islands that you will love! And let’s start with…

1. Malta

Malta

The small island state in southern Italy is ideal for a short getaway, regardless of the season (temperatures are extra even in the winter months). In addition to the beaches that attract millions of tourists annually, Malta is impressive thanks to the cultural mix here (the country was ruled, among others, by Phoenicians, Romans, Normans, and all these peoples have left their mark on it).

2. Corsica

Corsica

One of the largest islands in the Mediterranean, Corsica is the birthplace of one of the most important figures in the history of France: Napoleon Bonaparte. Wild landscapes, rural areas that have kept their authenticity, mountains, sea, a spectacular port, buildings with a special architecture: if you have not yet decided where you want to go on vacation, it’s time to consider this island!

3. Azores

Azores Islands
Although they are not so popular, we promise that the Azores will surprise you most pleasantly! A short distance from Portugal (about two hours by plane), a green area awaits you, with volcanoes, many flowers (here is the homeland of hydrangeas), good food, beautiful traditions, long beaches, and prices for all budgets!

4. Madeira

Madeira
We stay in the area of Portugal and arrive in Madeira, a small archipelago, but very, very beautiful. Madeira has everything: culture, exotic places, and, above all, delicious food (and drink, Madeira wine is famous worldwide). Madeira is sensational; on the one hand, we have a tropical climate, and on the other hand, we find a temperate climate. From the scorching sun on the beach to the coolness of the mountains, the raw green of the jungle, everything invites you here for a magnificent vacation.

5. Hvar

Hvar
Located on the Dalmatian coast, Hvar is one of the most beautiful islands in Croatia. On the one hand, you have the spectacular Adriatic Sea; on the other hand, you have the lavender fields that look impressive (Hvar is the Provence of Croatia from this point of view). Once you get here, you have to try the figs and spices grown on the island!

6. Porquerolles

Porquerolles (2)
This small island in the south of France has about 200 inhabitants and is a dreamland. Beaches with fine white sand, the waters are crystal clear, colored in turquoise, like those in the Caribbean. Be careful not to break, not even a flower; the island is protected by law. What are the most exciting places on the island? If you like Bachus’s stories and liqueur, we recommend the Perzinsky Domains.

7. Capri

Capri
In the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Gulf of Naples is one of the most beautiful places in Italy, the Island of Capri. The pearl of the Mediterranean Island and the Amalfi Coast attracts over half a million tourists annually. Capri is considered the island of the rich due to the holiday homes of celebrities. But also many personalities from history have stepped on these lands, such as Pablo Neruda, Thomas Mann, the emperors Augustus and Tiberius. The latter have testified a few houses, such as Villa Jovis.
