1. The Coast of Amalfi is One of The Best Wedding Destinations in Europe
2.The Algarve
It’s no surprise that couples from northern Europe go to the Algarve for their wedding day because of its year-round sunlight! Algarve, Portugal’s southernmost area, is a popular choice for destination weddings because of its easy accessibility from the United Kingdom and Ireland and the region’s reputation for long, sunny days.
April to June are perfect for weddings because of the mild temperatures, fewer guests (which is excellent if you want a beach wedding), and lower costs than during the more popular summer months. Temperatures are excellent in October, and you can take advantage of fantastic deals whether you’re looking for a traditional Portuguese Quinta in the countryside, a magnificent private villa with a pool, or a beach-side location.
You may be married in the Algarve or have a blessing at home. Civil ceremonies and catholic marriages are both legally binding. The lovely Lady of the Rock clifftop (Senhora do Rocha) is a popular choice for many married couples. Near the beach at Praia da Luz is a picture-perfect chapel.

4. Wedding in Tuscany, Italy
If we had to select just one section of Italy for a wedding, it would be Tuscany. Italians know how to have a good time, and Tuscany is no exception. Everything from the excellent cuisine and wine to gorgeous landscape and a plethora of excellent wedding vendors, Tuscany has it all. Limoncello is very close to being in our mouths!
Couples of any budget may have a memorable wedding in this city thanks to the wide range of locations and service providers available. Choose between a charming hilltop town or a vineyard home perched far above the surrounding landscape. Make sure you hire a professional photographer to take advantage of all the picture changes!
Villa Diulignano, Castello di Modanella, and Borgo di Tragliata are some of our favorite Tuscan wedding locations, and they’re all popular with European couples.
When planning a wedding in Tuscany, avoid the hottest months of the year by getting married in May, June, or September! Even if the weather may be pleasant, Italy is not immune to downpours, so be sure to have a backup plan with your venue in case it happens.
5. Sicily
The island of Sicily is an ideal location for a wedding because of its oscar-winning good looks, magnificent beaches, and beautiful, polished houses. There’s no lack of gorgeous backdrops to photograph in this area. In Sicily, inspiration is everywhere, from the salt plains of Marsala to the ancient castles, volcanic scenery, and picturesque vineyards in the west of the country.
Furthermore, visitors will be treated to a memorable meal thanks to Sicily’s world-class wine and cuisine.
Known as the “jewel of Sicily,” Cefalù is one of the island’s most lovely and scenic spots for a wedding, with a quaint old town and a UNESCO-listed Arab-Norman church. Cinema Paradiso won the Academy Award for best picture for Giuseppe Tornatore’s Cefalu. It is now possible for couples getting married in Cefal to use filming locations from the movie for their ceremony and reception, which may be held in the Theatre of Cefal and the picturesque harbor.
‘La Rocca,’ Cefal’s rock, provides a breathtaking view of the town and sea, as does the lovely beach at Cefal, regarded as the ‘small pearl’ of Cefal.’ Civil ceremonies may be held in the Museum of Mandralisca with receptions taking place in the lovely settings of a restaurant-art gallery.’
